What is iotoms
An overview of the iotoms platform — the admin console, the field app, and the ideas that tie them together.
iotoms is an AI-ready van sales management platform for growing distributors. It runs the whole operation from one system: routes, vans and variable-weight stock. You order in crates, stock by measured weight, sell from an offline-first field app, and ask the built-in AI assistant anything about your trading day.
The two halves
The admin console (console.iotoms.com) is where the office lives: the dashboard, catalogs, inventory, procurement, point of sale configuration, accounting, commission, reports and user management.
The field app is what your reps carry. It holds the day's route, the full catalog and price rules on the device, sells in any unit with or without signal, takes cash, card, credit and split payments, and closes the day with guided cash counting.
Both halves share one item master and one money engine — the same units, the same prices, the same rounding rules, cents-precise from the van to the ledger.
The ideas that matter
- Catch weight. Order in containers, stock by measured net weight from the scale, cost from the real kilograms. Expected-vs-measured variance is flagged on every goods receipt.
- Offline-first. The network is optional; the sale is not. Every transaction commits on the device first and syncs when signal returns.
- One trading day. Load against the route plan, drive the stops in order, sell store by store, and close to the cent — while the console watches it live.
